Al Franken continues to show he's not afraid to step on the toes of the Senate's old guard. Today, Franken denied Joe Lieberman an "additional moment" to continue speaking about how his amendment would help provide health care for "pretty much everybody."
This maneuver caused John 'You Kids Get Off My Lawn' McCain to throw a fit saying, "I have been around here 20-some years. This is the first time I have ever seen a member denied an extra minute or two to finish his remarks."
Yeah, how dare some liberal like Al Franken fight back against Republicans like McCain and Lieberman. The nerve! (And yeah, I called Joe Lieberman a Republican. So what?)
